Solray provide radiant panels to the brand new multi-use complex
Portway Lifestyle Centre is to be opened this week and is a brand new leisure facility for Sandwell. A vibrant and unique sports, health and wellbeing centre for the whole community as well as a centre of excellence for people with disabilities.
Solray have provided the building with an array of panels including plasterboard units, suspended ceiling units as well as free hanging panels. In total we provided just shy of 50 runs of heating panels, an array of different lengths and widths for a variety of areas from toilet areas to large multi-use sports halls
Working in conjunction with D&B contractor Lorne Stewart and M&E consultant Building Services Design, Solray delivered the radiant panels in phases to assist with site progress. Steve Pemberton (project manager @ Lorne Stewart) commented on the quality of the units and added how easy to install the panels were.
Below is some imagery of the panels prior to completion; the centre opens to the public today
